Summer Film 2012: Falling Shards

Finally my summer film uploaded! Falling Shards is a short animation showing shards being affected by a range of effects after dropping down.

We were tasked to create a music video to which I chose Between Two Points by The Glitch Mob. The animation was made using a combination of the techniques I have been learning and practicing over that last few months on Blender. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Intro clip

Above is the intro clip for my animation. Since the rendering is taking quite a bit of time to come together i decided to render different scene parts and stitching them together to create the final animation.

Above is a screenshot of the video clip I am creating using Blender. I have applied some of the techniques I have been experimenting over summer to give an abstract feel to my film. The video will be uploaded shortly.
